The views and controls are completely independent so that the gimbal control will not affect the pilot view or the aircraft’s navigation, and vice versa. Output a Picture-In-Picture view via mini-HDMI or HD-SDI to a TV or other external display, where the FPV is layered with the main camera view. If you have two cameras mounted on your aircraft the DJI Lightbridge 2 can transmit video from two cameras simultaneously, the main camera used to capture video and or photographs, and a second camera showing the First Person View (FPV). You can even output video to several devices simultaneously through a combination of ports, either USB and HD-SDI, or USB and mini-HDMI. ![]() The full HD video output can be viewed on almost any type of display – mobile phones and tablets, laptops, desktop displays and TVs can all receive live video output. The Lightbridge 2 supports up to one Master and three Slave devices at the same time, so the pilot, gimbal operator, director, and broadcast team can all receive the video signal and monitor the shooting process from different places. This can increase your efficiency by working together to accomplish more complex imaging and broadcasting tasks. When you need to show more than one person the live HD video stream you can transmit the same live HD view wirelessly to several devices by connecting multiple remote controllers in Master-Slave mode. Additionally the Lightbridge 2 controller is fitted with an internal rechargeable 6,000mAh battery which lets you fly longer and makes charging quick and easy. It has dedicated hardware controls for photo and video capture, gimbal pitch control, sensitive flight control sticks and dedicated Return To Home and customisable buttons (compatible cameras needed for full functions). The included remote provides easy access to vital functions. With the receiver fully integrated into a new remote controller, you simply connect to a display, power your system on and you are ready to go flying. The Lightbridge 2 greatly reduces the number of parts you must carry, mount, and set up on your aircraft. When using the DJI GO app, you can choose to maximize video quality or focus on lower latency, and manually change to your desired transmission channel. ![]() For uninterrupted transmission, a high-speed processor chooses the best channel and bandwidth based on current distance and electromagnetic environment. The Lightbridge 2 automatically adapts in real time to keep latency low while maintaining a strong signal. The aircraft controls, camera controls and video signals are also transmitted over the Lightbridge 2 at lightning fast speeds, giving you a very smooth, responsive navigation and video as you fly or direct your camera. See what your camera sees, and capture footage as never before in HD. With a new powerful hardware encoder and advanced algorithms the Lightbridge 2 has a low latency, this is as low as 50ms and means that FPV flights can be viewed in real time in HD. USB, mini-HDMI and HD-SDI ports supporting video output at up to 1080p / 60fps or the broadcast standard output of 720p / 59.94 fps and 1080i / 50fps. The Lightbridge 2 has been designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of professional broadcasting, building on the original Lightbridge technology the Lightbridge 2 featuring high frame rates and HD clarity. DJI have tested the Lightbridge 2 link to a maximum distance of 1.2 Km. With an integrated controller and intelligent detection system the DJI Lightbridge 2 sets a new standard for HD wireless image transmission, all while lowering the latency and increasing the maximum range and reliability of the video transmission. The DJI Lightbridge 2 breaks new technical limits allowing you to see further and clearer with HD streaming video. ![]()
